Mama might kill me for sharing, but I've got a really funny story about her and then one about me...
Lately we've been having some bad weather (not to mention, we're still a little gun shy from the tornado!) and one early morning last week, Mama heard a tree fall (they live in the woods...well, sort of...not really woods since the tornado...more like group of trees...ANYWAY!). She wanted to go and see where the tree fell, so she took off outside in her pajamas and it was so windy that the door slammed behind her. Someone had accidently locked the door handle so the combination lock was not functional and she was locked out of her house at 6 am in her pajamas. She said that she beat on the door and couldn't wake daddy up...AND the doorbell is broken. Please note that she was laughing hysterically as she told me this, so I'm not laughing at her, just with her.
The next day, I began preparing my Christmas cards. I was very excited b/c I got a free address stamp in the mail and was able to use it to stamp on my return address. About half way through my stack of envelopes I realized that I had been stamping the return address on the right-top corner of the envelope...where the stamp goes! Agghhh! How ridiculous! All I could think about was how Mama and I both must be losing our mind.
So, if you get a Christmas card with a return address and a stamp on the right-top corner, it's my mama's fault!!!!
(Love you Mama!!! Oh, and you can blame it on your Mama!)
(Love you Gran!!! Oh, and you can blame it on your Mama too!)
