Six and Seven Months

As you might have noticed, I just planned skipped Callie's six and seventh months of life on our blog. She was eight months yesterday and I am determined to do a quick post on six and seven before I show you eight.

As you can also tell, i didn't even do a real picture for six months....just slapped the sticker on her pjs one night! That's pitiful!!!

Anyway.... A few highlights from months six and seven:
-six month stats: 15.10 lbs, 26 inches, 50th percentile in everything. Her pediatrician, whom we love, continues to describe her as a perfectly healthy baby! Praise God!
-started eating some cereal
-quickly determined an allergy to oat
-started eating fruits and veggies only. Her favorites are sweet potatoes and bananas...pretty typical...but she'll eat anything but peas. Her daddy agrees and says this is fine.
-reaches for toys
-sits independently
-loves tv...the Baby Channel and basketball :)
-loves to bounce!
-loves bath time...I really think she looks forward to it every day
-when she gets sleepy she rubs something...whatever she can get her hands on (towel, blanket, jacket, my shirt)....on her face. She has become attached to a "lovey" and snuggles with it when she sleeps.

We juggled her schedule around...trying to drop that late afternoon nap and late night feeding. She, of course, did great and now she nurses four times a day, eats three meals of fruits and veggies, and takes two great naps. She goes to bed around 7:30 or 8:00 and wakes about 6:30 or 7:00.

She is such a blessing...an indescribable blessing.

I know I have probably left a lot out, but I'll be back soon with eight months.
