Well...it's been awhile!

Well...my blogging devotion has been lagging here lately and I do apologize. Seems like there's just not a lot of extra time to write and not a lot of exciting stuff to write about. We have really enjoyed our time off. I'm tellin ya'll...there's just nothing better than spending all day with Chuck Carson. We have had so much fun being together, travelling, playing, eating, being lazy, working, shopping, etc. We spent about 10 days in Americus and had great time with all of our families! Probably the most fun part was being with our nieces Chloe and Claire. Chloe is 2 and such a hoot! If you have access to Casey's blog or facebook, you need to check out the video of Chloe telling the Christmas story. She's adorable! Also, sweet Claire and I spent a lot of time together. She snuggled up under my neck so perfectly and her sweet and sharing Mama let me rock her to sleep a couple of times each day. Then Chuck and I took a 3-day trip to Atlanta by ourselves. It still feels funny to check into a hotel by ourselves. We slept late and spent all our Christmas money. We also went to a Hawk's Game which was very fun and entertaining. We finally got back to our little apartment on Tuesday evening and have been unpacking new stuff, and putting up Christmas stuff. I think we're finally ready to go back to the real world tomorrow!
