Chuck and I took a day off of work (shhhh.....don't tell!) and had a little "getaway" to one of our favorite places...Valdosta, GA. On our way there, we realized that we have been gone from Valdosta just as long as we actually lived there - about 15 months. Even though we only lived there a short time, in a lot of ways, it feels like home. When we arrived late Thursday night, our Sunday School class...our church family...surprised us with supper and sweet, sweet fellowship. We also had a great double date with our dear friends Ross and Wendy. It was a refreshing and fun "getaway."
Of course we made it to a VSU football game...and what a game it was! We're sure that our presence helped them pull out a win!
