I try to post at least once a month and I'm ashamed to say that it's been one month and 3 days since my last post....yikes! Glad I don't have any "die-hard" readers!
Our biggest piece of news is that we found a rental house...let me rephrase that...God found us a rental house! Chuck and I very quickly grew weary of apartment life and had to give a 60-day notice to get out when our lease ends on May 15. So a couple of weeks ago we decided to start looking around and wow! rental houses are expensive around here! Chuck happened to mention to a friend that we were looking and that friend called him that night and had driven down Mack Drive taking his son to soccer practice. He told us he saw a great house and then told us what a great neighborhood it was, so we decided to check it out. When we came to look at it, we immediately thought, "Oh...it's going to be way out of our price range!" I LOVED it so, I called the number and left a message. I then started praying for the house on Mack Drive and asked a few friends to pray about it for us too. A few days later, we got the call and what do you know!!!!! Right in our price range! What a miracle. It also has brand new carpet and paint throughout. I could give more details about how perfectly this fell in place, but I'll spare you the details. We are thrilled needless to say AND we decided to move right away! Another miracle came in the form of several college guys that helped us move. They are truly my heros this week. Thus I am sitting in our new house on Mack Drive looking out my big picture window writing this blog. Things are NOT organized, but they are here! We'd love for you to come see us! We promise you won't have to climb 3 flights of stairs!
In other news, Chuck has moved out of his SUPER busy season and is moving a lot slower at work now and will be for a couple of months! Two of our dearest friends, Josh and Jen, came to visit us last week during their Spring Break. How refreshing to spend time with them. At one point, we all looked around and realized that we were sitting in the living room reading...all 4 of us! Does that mean that we're old or that we're 110% comfortable with them? Maybe some of both??? I'm starting my Spring Break...WOOHOO...but sadly, had to start it early last week with a bug/virus of some kind. I had a very embarrassing "fainting spell" at school on Thursday. Chuck had to come and get me and I didn't go back on Friday. I promise...I'm getting to know my new bathroom REALLY well!
Okay...I'm off to continue chugging my gatorade!
