A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I really want to post some pictures of our new home, but my camera is just behaving poorly. It's just so frustrating! It won't stay charged, it eats batteries, all the photos are dark, and on and on and on! So I'm going to describe it in less than a thousand words! And in the meantime...putting a nice, lifetime-kind-of camera on my Christmas list!!

When you walk in the front door, you enter our living room. What makes our living room unique is that it has surround sound in the ceiling...we're definitely enjoying this. Walking straight through the living room, you enter an eat-in kitchen. This is definitely my favorite room in the house. It has an island (soon to be outfitted with bar stools...also on the Christmas list!). We have dark wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances. I feel so spoiled with the new appliances. Our laundry room/pantry is right off of the eating area and at the back door. I'm planning to recover my kitchen chairs soon and get a beautiful rug to go under the table (also on my Christmas list!) We have three bedrooms. They are rather plain and of a small-medium size. The bathrooms (2) are beautiful and big. Chuck and I have 2 sinks...this is such an unknown treasure! Also, our closet has enough room (barely!) for both of us!

Okay...that's gonna have to be enough until I get a decent camera! Just know that I love our new house and it is quickly becoming our new home! We have an extra bed and a really comfortable couch...we're waiting for visitors! Come see us over here in Alabama!
Here are a few pictures of the kitchen/eating area that are halfway decent!
